Welcome!

MABA was formed in 1981.  Our members deal in a wide range of used, rare and out-of-print books, maps, prints, autographs, bindings, photographs and ephemera. Shops range from a general stock of over 100,000 books to specialist stock of several hundred titles.

Our members have tried to describe their inventory accurately, but please bear in mind that quantity and stock specialties are subject to availability and the ever-changing market.  Also, since most shops are sole proprietorships, it is best to call ahead to avoid disappointment.

All MABA members are signatories to a code of ethical business practices, which may be found on our website.

We hope that this website will enrich your Maine book shopping experience.  For more information please contact one of the MABA  members or officers.
